Yes, in Poland it is possible to rent an apartment for office use, but several conditions must be met:
Owner’s consent – the landlord must provide written consent for conducting business activities in the apartment.
Change of property designation – in the case of long-term office activity, it may be necessary to formally convert the residential unit into a commercial premises.
Legal and tax aspects – running a business from an apartment may involve additional tax and administrative obligations.
For professional business operations, it is recommended to rent an office space in a commercial building that meets business requirements.
Health and safety regulations require a minimum of 2 m² of free space per employee. In practice, for comfort, about 7–10 m² per person is planned. This means on average ~0.1 employee per 1 m² (e.g., 100 m² for about 10 people).
When planning the space, also consider common areas (conference room, reception, etc.).

There are also operating costs (utilities, energy – approx. PLN 30–40/m²).

When renting an office, a security deposit is often required. It is usually equivalent to 1–2 months’ rent. In practice, the parties may agree on a higher deposit (even several months), although the law allows a maximum of 12 times the monthly rent. The deposit is returned after the lease ends, provided the premises are returned in good condition.
